Photo shows actual stencils as sent to a customer. The VIN number is 3.25 inches long on the stencil which is self-adhesive vinyl. The vinyl is self-adhesive so that the etch (or uv paint) does not run under the stencil, distorting the characters or making a mess. The glass etch gives the glass a frosted look. The inside parts of the stencil font characters are removed by us before shipment. The glass etch is water soluable. Be sure to read the caution tag attached to the glass etch and use the provided gloves. Eye protection is recommended.
